This is regarding “Lutherans brace for report on gay issues” (Metro, Jan. 13). With all due respect to Rev. Brian Hiortdahl, pastor of Resurrection Lutheran Church in the Lakeview neighborhood, “a church in which people who fundamentally and completely disagree with each other can still come to the same altar” is not a church. It is merely a social club.
