Major League Baseball Advanced Media announced plans to pay the players union $50 million over the next five years to license a package of players’ rights primarily for fantasy, online and wireless games, The New York Times reported Wednesday. Only the San Francisco Giants’ Barry Bonds opted out of the union’s group licensing program for individual deals.
