Three U.S. Army horse platoons–from Ft. Hood, Texas; Ft. Riley, Kan.; and Ft. Myer, Va.–will take part in the inaugural parade. Some will haul artillery caissons, as in the Army song with the line “the caissons go rolling along.”

A fly-over of military aircraft honoring President Bush will include four Air Force F-16 fighters, an Air Force B-2 stealth bomber, two Navy F/A-18 fighter-bombers, three Marine Harrier vertical takeoff jets and four Air Force F-15 fighter-bombers demonstrating the “missing man” formation.
