Nissan will add a car smaller than the subcompact Sentra in mid-2006 as a 2007 model. It will be based on the Japanese-market March model, but Nissan is mum on body styles and other facts. Executive Vice President Jed Connelly says the smaller model is aimed at younger buyers, but he insists it’s not a response to Toyota’s Scion division. Connelly says a redesigned Sentra will arrive in fall 2006.
