Robert Ames Mitchell, WWII Army Air Corps, passed away Feb. 1 in his Berwyn home. Devoted brother of Elizabeth M. Hickes of Charlotte, NC and William C. Mitchell of Deary, ID; fond uncle of Ronald J., Howard R., William D., Robert W. Mitchell and Susan E. Tippett; great-uncle of many. He was preceded in death by his parents William C. and Elizabeth Q. Mitchell. He was a graduate of the University of Chicago and New Mexico School of Mines. Donations to Heartland Hospice would be appreciated. Interment private. Arrangements by Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
