Orren Pickell Designers & Builders has opened its newest concept house to the public through the end of February.
Located at 1768 Reserve Ct. in Highland Park, the 4,213-square-foot “Easy Elegance” house is open for visitors from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Feb. 27.
The house boasts two master bedroom suites and a secondfloor home office with built-in bookshelves. There is a butler’s pantry next to the dining room, and the kitchen offers a vintagewhite center island with a raised area for seating and a main preparation area that is lower. There are leaded glass doors on either side of the range.
All proceeds from the suggested $3 donation benefit Highland Park Hospital. To visit, take Illinois Highway 22 in Highland Park to Ridge Road. Go south on Ridge Road to the first street, which is Reserve Court. Go right (west) to the first house.
