Survived by his loving partner of 16 years, Michael Fasanella of Chicago; son of Charles A. and Frances (Bigley) Durney of Melrose; brother of Pamela Johansen of Winchester, Margaret Kelly-Nichols of Melrose, Paul Durney of Florida, Charles A. Durney Jr. of Rockport, Peter Durney of Dennis, Thomas Durney and Patricia Durney both of Melrose, Christopher Durney of Tewksbury, Maryellen Balfour of Melrose and the late James Durney; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Foster St., Melrose, MA, on Wednesday, February 9, at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Herbert St., Melrose, MA, at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
