According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 1,700 children die and almost 300,000 are injured in motor vehicle accidents each year in the U.S. Motor vehicle crashes remain the leading cause of death for children younger than 14.

Booster seats with harness

– Used forward-facing only.
– For a child who has outgrown a convertible seat, but weighs less than 40 pounds
Belt-positioning booster

– Used forward-facing only.
– Used with a lap/shoulder belt. Make sure it the lap belt fits low and tight across the lap/upper thigh area and the shoulder belt fits snug crossing the chest and shoulder to prevent abdominal injuries.
– Backless seat may be used if child’s head is supported to the top of the ears by vehicle seat back.
