Margaret “Peggy” Onofrio, nee Jackson, age 73, a lifelong resident of Chicago Heights, passed away February 4, 2005. She was the beloved wife of John Onofrio; loving mother of Julie Maggio, Lisa (Matthew) Blankenberger, Margaret (Paul) McGovern, Christiane (Joseph) Kunkel, John Onofrio, Bill Onofrio and Joe (Eileen) Onofrio; proud grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of four; dear sister of Thomas Jackson. She was preceded in death by her sister Virginia Haber. Margaret was a 1949 graduate of Bloom High School and was retired from the Cook County Clerks Office. Visitation Monday, February 7, 2005 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hirsch West End Chapel, 1340 Otto Blvd., Chicago Heights, IL.
