Barbara Ann “Babs” Walsh, age 69, of Delavan, WI, died Fri. Feb. 4, 2005 at Select Specialty of West Allis Memorial Hospital. She was born on Aug. 14, 1935 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Emmett Durack and Margaret “Peg” (O’Shea) Lynch. She married Bart Walsh on July 14, 1956 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Delavan. Babs and her husband were longtime residents of Grafton, WI before moving to Delavan. In 1993, she began employment with Professional Reality in Delavan as a Real Estate Broker, and continued there after it became Keefe Real Estate Inc. in 1997. She was a member of Kiwanis, American Legion Auxiliary Post 95 in Delavan, and she served on the Board of Directors for the Music Parents in Grafton. She was also a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Delavan. She is survived by her husband, Bart of Delavan; one son, Brian (Rebekah) of Columbus, IN; and four grandchildren: Patrick, Reilly, Spencer, and Matison. She is preceded in death by one son, Bart Jr.; one step brother, Jack Lynch; her parents; and step father, John Lynch. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005 at Monroe Funeral Home, Delavan, with officiant Rev. Dick Rice, assisting officiant and vocalist, Sister Rosemarie Whitehead, and eulogist Phil Kilkenny. Visitation will be Thursday, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Andrew’s Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to University of WI Foundation, ALS Research, 1848 University Ave., P.O.
