– A scoring margin list on Page 7 of Wednesday’s Sports section mistakenly placed the 1958-59 season as the best in 100 years of Illini basketball, based on the average margin of victory. In fact, the top two average victory margins in Illinois basketball were by the 1942-43 team, which had an average margin of 20.6 points, and this season’s 2004-05 team, which has a margin of 17.7 points.
– An article on Page 3 of the WomanNews section Wednesday contained an incorrect Web site address. The Web site, giving information about a Case Western Reserve University exhibit on contraceptive devices throughout history, is www.cwru.edu/artsci/dittrick/site2.
– A Jan. 23 Arts & Entertainment review of the new Randolph Street Station incorrectly identified Jason Stanley as the project’s senior designer. Stanley was the project’s technical coordinator. Joe Reibel, now with the Chicago office of Atlanta-based Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates, was the senior designer.
