Gertrude Barned, nee Dennee, 102, beloved wife of the late Sam; dear sister of Adeline (the late Dominic) Massarelli, Jenny Maszk, Margie (Arthur) Kafka, John “Al” (Augusta) Dennee, Lawrence (the late Marie) Dennee and preceded in death by siblings, Mae (Ed) Fisher, Ida (William) Altman, Marybelle Eisner Radovich, Michael (Eleanor and the late Josephine) Dennee, Helen (Marcel) Desgraz and Jim (Helen) Dennee; fond aunt of many loving nieces and nephews. Resident at Ballard Health Care for 8 years. Longtime employee at Colleys Cupboards and Wiebolts in Evanston. In her retirement she provided child care for many parents. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Ransom Church in Niles on Friday, Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. Inurnment private.
