Richard Fenlon, 60 years, of Hilton Head Island, formerly of Chicago, loving husband of Elizabeth; father of Jason (Jennifer) and Eric (Shawn); and grandfather to Riley. Passed away on Feb. 7, 2005 after a short illness. Born in Chicago, Dick, a U.S. Army Veteran, retired from Amoco Oil in 1996 after 30 years service. A proud graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, he attended The University of Dayton. He was the first heart and liver transplant performed at the Mayo Clinic in 1992, and later received a liver and kidney transplant in 2000. A Memorial Service will be held a St. Celestine Church in Elmwood Park, on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
