How long have you owned it?
“We bought it brand-new in 1999, and I got in an accident with it. … I was at the mall shopping, and [my friend] thought I wanted to race coming out of the parking lot, and he ended up running into me. … I started modifying it, and I just never stopped. It just kind of got out of hand.”
How much money have you put into it?
“Over $250,000, and that’s with the help of my dad.”
Feature you’re proudest of:
“Probably the headlight and taillight conversion, because it has Sylvania headlights and Lexus IS 300 taillights. I wanted to take a combination of the cars that I like.”
How often do you drive it? Ever put it in shows?
“Once I started getting further and further into it, I figured with all the money put into the car to have it as a Sunday driver … Last year, I did about 35 shows around the U.S.”
Do you own another vehicle?
“I’m driving my mom’s car for right now.”
If you could trade up to another car, what would it be?
“I’m actually in the process of working out a deal with General Motors and building a show car for them.”
What are your favorite sources for parts, gear, bodywork, etc.?
“Sound Decision did all the audio; JC Customs did the paint and body work; Speedway Performance, they deal with the engine; Team Noble Racing; they did some of the engine modifications.”
