A 68-year-old Aurora man whose body was found Thursday morning behind an office building on the city’s west side apparently died of natural causes, authorities said.

Police are seeking to notify the man’s relatives before releasing the name.

“He lived in the area where he was found,” police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said. “He had his wallet with him and apparently was on foot.”

Foul play is not suspected, Ferrelli added.

A preliminary investigation indicated the man likely had a medical condition that might have contributed to his death, Ferrelli said.

He was wearing a bracelet indicating he was on kidney dialysis.

A spokesman for the Kane County coroner’s office said no autopsy is planned.
