Martin Peter “Curly” “Unc” Evers, age 82, of Lansing, IL, passed away February 10, 2005, loving brother of Mary Jane DeNys and Anna Mae (Norman) Holmstrom and Henry J. (Audrey) Evers; numerous nieces and nephews; fond nephew of Lucy (Late Emmet) Lynch; dear friend of Pat Kabala, Dan Jablonski, Barb Paysk and Alvin Rogers; preceded in death by parents, Anna Susan and Martin Evers. Funeral Monday, February 14, 2005 at 10 a.m. from the Schroeder Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd. Lansing to St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Rd. Lansing for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL. Visitation Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. Mr. Evers was retired from International Harvester Company, the West Pullman Works as a tool grinder after 37 years. He was a former member of the Western Boston Terrier Club and he loved his dogs. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Ann Catholic Church for Masses would be appreciated.
