Edwin A. Hansen Jr., age 73, of Galena, IL, former longtime resident of Wheaton, IL, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005. Private inurnment at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL. A Memorial Service will be arranged by Law-Jones Funeral Home in Savanna, IL. Edward was born Aug. 27, 1931, the son of the late Edwin A. Hansen Sr. and Marie C., nee Kuzel, Hansen. Ed is survived by his daughter, Christine Hansen (Richard Daly); two sons, Eric Hansen and Steve Hansen; his grandchildren, Richard and Jacqueline Hansen and Stuart Hansen-Daly; his sister, Marjorie A. Weber; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Charlotte Johnson and Harriet Atwood Fitzwater. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association in Ed’s name.
