Incredibly President Bush has lost sight of the problem with Social Security.

The problem isn’t that the payments are not large enough for people to live on comfortably but, rather, that the pool of money available for payments is beginning to dry up.

To privatize part of Social Security as proposed by the president will dry up the pool faster.

Perhaps a better way is to allow the privatizing of Social Security, but instead of transferring it to one’s estate, transfer it back to the pool upon death.
