Marjorie Mills Trobaugh, 82, of Winnetka, Swarthmore College Class of 1944, died unwillingly at her home, surrounded by family on Monday, February 7, 2005. The cause of death was being just plain tuckered out after four years of fighting the after-affects of a major stroke suffered on Valentine’s Day 2001. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank E. Trobaugh, Jr.; and her son, Thomas Frank Trobaugh; she is survived by her children Sarah Trobaugh, Amy Bain (Leo Peters) Trobaugh and Ted (Elizabeth) Trobaugh; six grandchildren Jaron, Hannah, Tess, Gabriel, Celeste and Rowan; and nephew Douglas Mills Garbart. We will miss her smile, voice and hugs, but she will always be with us in our hearts and memories. Services private. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Nature Conservancy of Illinois, 312-346-8166, Common Cause 202-833-1200, the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association 800-923-3608, or TechnoServe 203-852-0377.
