Was Jamie Foxx’s duet at the Grammys the start of a singing career?
The actor paired with Alicia Keys for a crowd-pleasing rendition of Ray Charles’ “Georgia On My Mind.” But the New York Post says Foxx’s performance was no one-shot novelty.
Music mogul Clive Davis, who helped boost Keys into the spotlight several years ago, reportedly told the crowd at his pre-Grammy party in Beverly Hills that Foxx is working on an album for him. Not that Jamie’s a stranger to the music world–he sang on the Kanye West/Twista hit “Slow Jamz.”
Meanwhile, Foxx has this whole acting thing going on. He and Colin Farrell are scheduled to start filming the “Miami Vice” movie this spring, with a tentative release in July 2006.
