Robert Fruin III, 74, of Aiken, SC, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005 at his residence in Aiken, SC. A son of the late Robert E. Jr. and Mildred Travis Fruin, he was born in Chicago, IL and had lived in Decatur, IL before moving to Aiken in 1997. He is predeceased by a son, Eric Joseph Fruin, who died in 1964. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Monica Brodbeck Fruin; four sons, Robert, Michael, Paul and John Fruin; a daughter, Mary Sterrenberg; a sister, Patricia Hayes; and 10 grandchildren. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 9:30 a.m.
