Clara A. Lawson, nee Case, age 103, beloved wife of the late Charles L.; loving mother of Darlene (the late Robert) Degenhardt, Claire Palmer, Charles E. and the late Richard L. Lawson; devoted grandmother of Robin, Kathleen, Kryselle, Pam, Cheryl, Sandra, Daniel, Timothy, Leslie, Lisa and William; great-grandmother of 23; great-great-grandmother of seven; preceded by brothers and sisters, John Case, Catherine Lubbe, Frances Bales, Constance Stone and Lucille Kohley; aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. Among her many accomplishments are Legislation Chairwoman of Brandywine AARP; honored as Oakbrook Terrace Community Park District Senior Citizen of the Year 1974 and 1975; awarded special citation from AARP for outstanding community service; and responsible for provision by Harris Bank of a Brandywine sidewalk to Harris Bank and other retail businesses.
