In “Littering smokers” (Voice of the people, Feb. 10), a letter writer requested that smokers start using the ashtrays their cars came with and stop throwing butts out the window. I own a 2003 Jeep and a 2004 Nissan 350Z and both cars came without ashtrays. The dealers told us that most people these days do not smoke.
