Vilma McClure, nee Gasperik, age 88, died Feb. 15, a piano teacher who taught hundreds of children at Austin Academy of Fine Arts in Chicago and in Oak Park. Active in Oak Park’s Pilgrim Congregational Church with her late husband, Allan. Resided in Oak Park and LaGrange. Survived by sons, James A. McClure (Kathleen) of LaGrange and Thomas J. McClure (Janet) of Troy, MI; and grandchildren, Steven, Wendy, Megan and Timothy McClure. Memorial Service 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20 at First United Methodist Church Chapel, 100 W. Cossit Ave., LaGrange. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, to Chicago Children’s Choir, Chicago Cultural Center, 5th Floor, 78 E. Washington St., Chicago, IL 60602.
