Janis Salzman, age 77, beloved wife of the late Stanley; mother of Kim (Mark) Newman and Teri (Marc) Bold; grandmother of Jodi, Nicole, Adam and Spencer; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; cherished friend to all who knew her. Janis was a gourmet cook. She was an expert in needlework and knitting as well as an accomplished swimmer. Well-read and world traveler, she was an intellectual who supported the arts. A memorial service wil be held Friday, Feb. 18, 2005 12 p.m. at the Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd (1 block North of Old Orchard).
