Philip B. Braus, 74, of Vernon Hills, formerly of Deerfield, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2005. He was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard and retired U.S. Naval Reserve, member of Fleet Reserve Association Unit 53 and retired member of IBEW Local 134 and member of its Harmony Club. Beloved husband of 48 years to Catherine; loving father of Mary Ann (Gary) Justus, Samuel (Teresa) Braus, William (Renatta) Braus, Sara (Anthony) Latham and the late David Braus; dear grandfather of Mallory, Danielle, Elizabeth, Samuel, Benjamin, Martin and Linda. He will be greatly missed by his union brothers and sisters and ship mates.
