Joining Johnson on the first team are Hampshire senior Amanda Walker, Iroquois West senior Brooke Cultra, Belleville Althoff junior Theresa Lisch and Carrollton senior Jena Staples.
The team is voted on by a statewide panel of sports writers and broadcasters.
Johnson, a 5-foot-10 forward, scored 929 points this season, an average of 31 per game. She also averaged seven rebounds per game, three assists and three steals and was a 90 percent free throw shooter. She made a state record 48 free throws in a row.
Johnson was named a first-teamer on 12 of the 13 ballots cast. She had a total of 63 points based on a system of five points for a first-team vote, four for second and three for third.
Walker, a 5-8 guard who amassed 57 points and five first-team votes, led Hampshire to a 20-8 season and a regional championship. A three-year starter, she helped her team take third place in the 2003 state tournament and second place last year. This season she averaged 18.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.7 assists. She scored 1,156 career points and will play on scholarship at Western Illinois University. Her career high scoring game was 35 points.
Cultra, whose career high was also 35 points, is a 5-11 forward/center who averaged 20.6 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game for a 23-5 team. She scored 1,998 career points. Cultra, who also totaled 57 points in the voting, has not yet announced her college decision.
Lisch is a 5-9 junior who averages 23 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. She led her 21-5 team to the Sweet Sixteen in its first season in Class A by shooting 49 percent from the field and making over 60 3-pointers. She totaled 55 points in the voting.
Staples, whose 28-3 Carrollton team also qualified for the Sweet Sixteen, is a 6-foot center who has scored more than 1,400 career points. She averages 20.2 points per game as well as 7.6 rebounds and is a 76 percent shooter. Staples tallied 52 points in the voting.
The second team consisted of Quincy Notre Dame senior Sara Liesen, Spring Valley Hall junior Kailey Klein, Hope junior Precious Gaddis, Roseville-Yorkwood senior Brooke Singleton and Sterling Newman junior Jocelyn Mellen.
Voted to the third team were Ottawa Marquette senior Kristina Yedniak, Paris sophomore Emily Maggert, Bloomington Central Catholic senior Rachel Galligan, Bishop McNamara junior Jennifer Juergens and Timothy Christian senior Jana Lucas.
The Class AA All-State team will be announced on Feb. 28.
