Expert on fraud and its prevention
Frank W. Abagnale will be the featured speaker at a program titled “Today’s Fraud, Tomorrow’s Prevention” at an event hosted by the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
The event is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Palmer House Hotel. The morning session will include two panel discusiions, one on “Asset Statement Fraud” and the other on “Fraud in Collateral Reporting.” Abagnale will present his keynote address during lunch and conduct an afternoon workshop on fraud prevention.
Abagnale, who is the author of “Catch Me if You Can,” has been associated with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for over 25 years.
Abagnale lectures extensively at the FBI Academy and for the field offices of the FBI.
The full-day program is $250 for members and $350 for non-members. Registration includes continental breakfast, lunch, a cocktail reception, all materials and admission to presentations.
