Jerry D. Woods, 74, passed away in his home on Feb. 19. He was the beloved husband of Marlene for 53 years; loving father of Dennis (Carol) Woods, Diane (Michael) Coons and Sharon (John) Sorsen; loving grandfather of Nicole, Beth, Jon, Alex and Nathaniel; he was was preceded in death by his brother Harold; brother-in-law of Jim Crider; and his parents Harry and Lillie Woods. Jerry was born in Kansas City, MO, Jan. 8, 1931. He was a graduate of the University of Kansas, worked in sales and was the owner of the Jerry Woods and Associates Insurance Agency. He was a resident of Glen Ellyn for 37 years. Jerry loved to fish, play cards, read and garden. Memorial visitation Feb. 24, Thursday, 6 to 9 p.m. at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E.
