Does “The Apprentice” have a problem with black women?

Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth said as much last week in an interview promoting her Monday appearance on “Fear Factor.” And there does seem to be a disturbing pattern on the NBC reality show. Consider the evidence:

FIRST “APPRENTICE”

Manigault-Stallworth is the much-advertised villain of the show, with some saying her erratic behavior cost a fellow African-American contestant, Kwame Jackson, a win.

SECOND “APPRENTICE”

Stacie Jones Upchurch is called “borderline schizophrenic” and “scary” — all because she babbled excitedly while playing with a Magic 8 Ball during a challenge.

THIRD “APPRENTICE”

Verna Felton is shown stressing out over a motel-renovation challenge, and the next thing you know she leaves the show. Felton “couldn’t hack it and quit,” Donald Trump said. Felton wouldn’t specify why she left, but hinted on her Web site that “something [happened], which made me feel the reward was not worth it.”
