I have been reading with interest the recent pieces by the believers in creationism versus evolutionism. I have answered it to my own satisfaction. There is no conflict between them. They are completely compatible and actually component parts of the same concept. I believe in a higher power, a supreme being, a universal intelligence (whatever you wish to call it); I call it God.
Creation: God created the universe.
Evolution: The materials and methods God used to create the universe.
This explanation should offer peace of mind to both sides.
