Eric Max Fisher, age 67, of Naperville, died suddenly on Thursday, February 24. He was born on January 22, 1938 in Chicago. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Karen (Poths); and his three children, Monica (Andy) Johnson of Warrenville, Cynthia (Brent) Eichelberger of Elburn, and Bill (Catina) Fisher of Aurora. Eric was the fun-loving Grampa of Mike, Alex, Anna, Samantha, Ericka, Eric, Caroline and Leia; and the brother of Rosie Toelle of Adams, WI, and Margaret (Glen) Kistner of Elmhurst. He was the brother-in-law of Bob Poths and Barbara and Ron Damerjian. He was also “Uncle Eric” to many nieces and nephews. He retired in 1996 from a very rewarding career of 29 years at 3M Company. Since retiring, he enjoyed many happy hours with all of his family. Eric was also an avid fisherman. A memorial service to celebrate Eric’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 28 at Trinity Lutheran Church at Curtis and Warrenville Roads in Warrenville.
