Hackers pilfered Paris Hilton’s cell phone address book, then someone filched footage of Fred Durst having sex with a blond woman and posted it on the Internet.
But the Limp Bizkit frontman thinks he knows how the computer thieves got him.
“Somebody that was repairing my computer was smart enough to go through anything he could [and found the movie],” Fred said, according to mtv.com. “What can I say? I’m not proud of it.”
A hacker calling himself the “T-Mobile Terrorist” tried to take credit for both raids.
“I don’t use T-Mobile,” Fred said, referring to the list of Paris’ phone numbers that included his contact information. “No, no, [my listing in her Sidekick] is just old, years old.” He also said he turned down an offer to capitalize off the sex video.
“Absolutely not,” he says, “I don’t want to make any money off this. This is ridiculous.”
