The ubiquitous cell has become a major irritant; I once rode Amtrak from Chicago to Minneapolis and tried not to listen to a woman talk on her cell throughout the trip. It is difficult to legislate manners but we can and should take measures to limit the use of cell phones while driving, as it is already clear that they are a major distraction.
