What happened to the Notre Dame basketball team? Early in the season they were a strong team that knocked off the giants in the Big East, including handing Boston College its first defeat. Lately, as I watched the Irish muddle through their loss to Rutgers and then be ousted in the first round of the NIT by Holy Cross, I started to wonder if they could make the IHSA quarterfinals.
