Jump on the brand wagon
The Chicago Chapter of the American Marketing Association presents its BrandSmart 2005 conference titled “Solving the Branding Puzzle.” The third annual event takes place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Summit Executive Centre, 205 N. Michigan Ave.
William Lamar Jr., senior vice president and chief marketing officer, McDonald’s USA, will discuss “Leadership Marketing: McDonald’s Winning Plan to Revitalize its Brand.” Some of the other topics to be covered include “Putting the Value in Brand Value,” presented by Paula Ausick and Scot Havrilla of EuroRSG/Chicago; “Deactivating Fear: The Emotional Dynamics of Branding,” presented by Dan Hill, president of Sensory Logic; and “Brands That Rock,” presented by Roger Blackwell, marketing professor at Ohio State University.
