Thank you for the recent publication of the article on foie gras (“Quirky bills try to halt fowl moves,” Metro, March 21). I think everyone needs to be educated on the horrors our “dinner” must endure. Many cultures have become entirely too far detached from what is served on their plate–it’s time we finally put an end to this heinous torture and slaughter of animals.
