I’m certain that the faithful in Vatican Square were disappointed on Easter Sunday when the pope appeared at his window but was unable to speak. Although his frustration was evident and understandable, I’m sure his followers didn’t need the spoken word to know the love, faith and devotion in the heart and mind of this remarkable religious leader.
