Gerald D. Bailey, 75, of Northbrook, IL, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2005. Beloved husband of Janet; loving father of Karen (James) Strand, Carolyn (Kenneth) Keehn, Steven (Rebecca) Bailey, Kathy (Gregory) Daley, Lynda (Phillip) Henderson and Lisa (Matthew) Merriam; dear brother of James Bailey and brother-in-law of Susan Meyers; cherished grandfather of Bailey Ann Strand, Tiffany and Kayla Keehn, Kimberly, Jessica and Andrew Bailey, Britney and Trent Daley, Kyle and Kaitlyn Henderson, Lucy and Joe Merriam. Gerald was the founder and owner of Chicago Induction Metal Treating, Corp., and a proud veteran of the Korean War.
