Ruth C. Stetzer, resident of Windsor Park Manor, died on her 91st birthday, April 3. She was born in 1914 in Ettrick, WI. She was an RN before having her family. She was a member of Geneva Lutheran Church, P.E.O. She traveled extensively, enjoyed Bible studies and Bridge. She was the beloved mother of Kathleen Tormala, Sharon (Dr. Donald) Ferlic; dear grandmother of Suzanne (Michael) Johnson, Matthew (Maria) Ferlic, Nathan (Danielle) Tormala, David (Susan) Tormala, Sarah (Jon) Floyd; fond great-grandmother of Zachary Floyd, Rebekah Floyd, Adam Tormala, Reeve Ferlic, Maxwell Johnson. Preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Dudley Stetzer; daughter, Susann; brothers, Victor and Kenneth; sister, Elsie Peterson; son-in-law, Alden Tormala. Visitation Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. Memorial service 10 a.m. Friday at Windsor Park Manor, 124 Windsor Park Dr., Carol Stream, with Chaplain Don Jones officiating.
