The Cookie Monster is turning on us, people.
In an effort to instill better eating habits early, “Sesame Street” is forcing the lovable cookie-scarfing furball to sing a new song: “A Cookie Is A Sometimes Food.” You see, there are “anytime” foods and “sometimes” foods.
“Even Cookie Monster is learning to control his cookie cravings,” Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist told the AP. “[He] reminds us that moderation is the key to healthy living.”
“Sesame Street” also will introduce new characters, such as talking eggplants and carrots. So what’s next? Will Oscar the Grouch start recycling?
