William D. Weaver, 84, of Winnetka, died peacefully Thursday, after a courageous 18-year battle with Parkinson disease. He was the beloved husband of Virginia, nee Osbourne; loving father of Audrey (Michael Vogan) Weaver and Leslie (Hilton) Weaver-Weinberg; loving grandfather of CP, Stephie and Nickey; dear brother of Everett (Rita) Weaver. Mr. Weaver was a Captain in the Army Air Corps and served as a P-38 fighter pilot during WWII. He had a 50-year career with AMCOL International serving ultimately as CEO and Chairman.
