Robert J. Olson, age 66, and resident of Plainfield, IL and formerly Manteno, IL, passed away on April 17, 2005 at his home surrounded by family. Veteran U.S. Army. Married to his beloved wife Mary, nee Burns, on January 28, 1967; loving father of Beth (Tim) Gauen, Robert, Matthew (Melissa) and Jill (Carlos) Sandoval; dear grandfather of Kelcie, Nick, Brooke, Tony, Joey, Alicia and Brandon; cherished son of Robert and Beatrice Olson; fond brother of Rick (Marty), Margie (Chaz) Cantlon, Ronald and the late Roger; also survived by nieces and nephews. Robert received his B.S. in Business Administration in 1962 and was employed by Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago until his retirement in 2004. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at St. Andrew Church in Romeoville. All who are attending Mass that morning are to meet at the Church, not the funeral home.
