I read with interest “And now for a really weighty issue: State goes after hefty book bags” (Page 1, April 16). I pick up my 12-year-old grandson twice a week from school and have noticed all the children walking out hunched over with their heavy book bags on their backs. My grandson is one of them. Instead of spending money and making the textbooks smaller, why not introduce the children to a bag with wheels similar to wheeled luggage that a person can pull? I know they are available. We need to make the kids think this is cool.
