Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Give the gift that lasts forever — no, not a diamond, but a stainless-steel keychain drive from Lexar called JumpDrive Lightning.

The little memory device, generically known as a USB flash drive, pocket drive and, in France, Kikinou, comes in 1-gigabyte ($140) and 2-gigabyte ($280) models. Essentially a portable hard drive, the JumpDrive Lightning carries information from one computer to another, everything from pictures of your office party to your latest research project.

Lexar also will laser-engrave a message, up to 20 characters, on the JumpDrive Lightning’s casing at no additional cost. Nothing says I love you, at least to a computer geek, like a monogrammed, stainless-steel keychain drive.
