It’s been a rough couple of months for The Game. First came his highly publicized feud with 50 Cent. Now come reports that the rapper has been hit with assault charges and slapped with a $280 million civil suit.
Prosecutors in Prince Georges County, Md., have formally filed assault and battery charges against Game after the rapper allegedly assaulted radio host Kwasi “DJ Zxulu” Jones, formerly of 93.9 WKYS-FM in Washington, D.C., during an appearance at the radio station in January, allhiphop.com reports.
Jones’ lawsuit, which also names G-Unit, Shady Records and Aftermath Entertainment, alleges a group of 20 men affiliated with Game accosted him and assaulted him in the radio station after he apparently made a joke about Game’s manager, Jimmy “Henchmen” Rosemond.
Representatives for Game had no comment.
