NBC has signed a development deal with the creator of a one-woman show about her three suicide attempts and several stays in a psych ward.

It’s a comedy.

Julianne Grossman will create a series based on her show “From Bonkers to Botox,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. The theatrical show is a dark comedy that chronicles her depression and how she dealt with her “life in lockdown.”

The deal with NBC arose after Grossman performed her show, in which she plays 25 different characters, at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colo., earlier this year.
