I can’t believe how irresponsible the Tribune was in letting Rick Morrissey write front-page sports columns on back-to-back days. I mean, I know it’s his job, and I know he’s a veteran who probably knows his own body better than anyone else, but do you realize that with that kind of reckless managing, Mr. Morrissey could easily blow out a typing finger and be lost for weeks, if not the entire season?
I implore you: Give him the rest he needs. We can’t afford to lose one of Chicago’s biggest second-guessers for a protracted period of time.
