Jonathan Gibson, beloved son of Mark and Suzanne Gibson, died suddenly at home on May 5, 2005. Born Aug. 6, 1973, in Cooperstown, New York, he was a 1991 graduate of Barrington High School and a 1996 graduate of Cornell College in Iowa where he was a member of Phi Mu Alpha. Jonathan is survived by his parents; sister, Kristin Kirk; brother, Robert Gibson; maternal grandparents, Robert and Ardene Sites; paternal grandmother, Violet Gibson; loving aunts and uncles, Robert and Alice Gibson, Dennis and Sharon Gibson, June and Scott Oliver, Greg and Joyce Sites, De and Jim Cheverud, and Carolyn and Jim Miller. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday , at Lutheran Church of the Atonement, 909 E Main St (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
