Ruth E. Scollay, nee Rasmussen, 86, of Des Plaines. Beloved wife for 62 years of the late Henry K. Scollay; loving mother of Valerie J. Holm, Karen L. (Robert) Sleeman and the late Dennis A. Scollay; dear grandmother of five; and great-grandmother of seven; fond sister of the late Helen Rasmussen. Ruth worked for more than 34 years at Jewel Foods. Memorial service Saturday, 12 noon at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1177 E. Howard Ave., Des Plaines, IL 60018. Private interment was held at Bartlett Cemetery, Bartlett.
